New Music Video - Ben Howard "Esmerelda"
The very talented Ben Howard is treating us to new music. He is releasing an EP, 'Burgh Island,' on December 10. Above is the video for the hauntingly beautiful opening track, "Esmerelda." The video is like a dark version of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful." Check it out and then get familiar with Mr. Howard here.

Cover Story - Coley "I Knew You Were Trouble"
You know that pre-pre-pre-teen rapper Maty B? Well he apparently grew up real fast. Haha, I kid, I kid. Coley, a Philly raised rapper, has had an interesting life. Learn all about it here, and If you like his cover of Taylor Swift's, "I Knew You Were Trouble," you'll probably like the rest of his stuff.
Stream Lindstrøm's Smalhans on Spin
"It's time for the world to rekindle their romance with Hans-Peter Lindstrøm. His SECOND record of the year, Smalhans, is out November 6th on Smalltown Supersound, and SPIN has the whole enchilada streaming on their website. Speaking of enchiladas, the new record is replete with nods to Norwegian foods (enchiladas are Norwegian, right?). From the single "Rà-àkõ-st" (raw vegetables) to album track "Va-fle-r" (waffles), the record is a tasting menu of some of the country's simpler, more traditional dishes. Listen to each morsel, as well as a killer recent remix by Slick Shoota."
Doesn't sound like you have a choice. Listen to it here, in preparation for your post storm partying this weekend.

New Music Video - Deap Vally "End of the World"
“Think a hippie Karen O fronting Black Sabbath and you’re somewhere in the caustic, blues-riffing ballpark as these Los Angelinos. A hollerin’, howlin’, hell-raising duo”. NMEI don't think I can say it any better than that.

New Music Video - Solange "Losing You"
So much to love about this video, the Dandys, the outfits, the sense of humor, the beautiful South Africans! Say what you want about Solange, but homegirl stays true to herself. She easily could have done some mainstream R&B drivel. Fabulous!
