Cover Stories - Adele "I Can't Make You Love Me"

As much as I love Adele and think she has a absolutely beautiful voice, no one can sing this song like Bonnie Raitt. I'm a little surprised that I'm saying this but I liked Justin Vernon's cover better.

This Is Why I Love Adele

Adele is on the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone, and she once again proves why she is better than her peers.
"I love seeing Lady Gaga's boobs and bum. I love seeing Katy Perry's boobs and bum. Love it. But that's not what my music is about. I don't make music for eyes. I make music for ears."
Read more from her interview here.

Cover Stories Live - Jamie Woon "Someone Like You"

Artists are really taking covering Adele's songs seriously. Jamie Woon covered "Someone Like You,' which is a cover itself, for BBC's Radio 1 Live Lounge. It's so simple and pretty. Check out John Legend's cover of "Rolling In the Deep" if you haven't here.

Cover Stories - John Legend "Rolling In The Deep"

Yet another person has covered Adele's "Rolling In The Deep." This time it is adorably sexy John Legend. He takes it to church; giving it an even more soulful sound. The two of them need to do a song together. Listen to it here.

Adele Racks Up Another #1

Congratulations to Adele for having the #1 album in the US; selling over 350,000 copies of '21'. She deserves it for how much promotion she has done alone. She has performed on pretty much every talk and award show she could. This makes for the 11th country she has debuted at #1.

Mike Posner Rolls In The Deep

Mike Posner covered Adele's, perfect lead single, "Rolling In The Deep." This is the best cover of this song I have heard so far. He completely makes it his own; making the track more club-ish or dj-ish.

Adele Declares, "I Found A Boy"

idolator has a bonus track, "I Found A Boy," from Adele's new album '21'. Whoever her ex-boyfriend is must be cursing himself right now. Well, at least being Swifted(you know how Taylor Swift writes about all her gentleman callers) means you were important enough to get a whole song written about you. Good or bad, that is kind of cool. And MTV for a track by track review of the album. I can't wait to listen to the album until I can't stand it.

Rolling In The Deep Remix ft. Childish Gambino

Rolling in the Deep (Jamie xx Shuffle) ft. Childish Gambino by Childish Gambino

I love my future ex-boyfriend's verse, but I'm not quite feeling the beat used for the remix. Adele's sample on "Do Ya Like" was so perfect, that this pales in comparison.

Someone Like You

I wonder if she knows how great she is.  I forgot to post this video of Adele singing 'Someone Like You,' one of her new singles off the new album.  Bask in her young talent.

Amy Winehouse + New Music = ?

Hearing Amy Winehouse's voice on new music didn't quite quench my thirst.  It made me curious about what to expect from the troubled songstress.  Loyal fans like me have been waiting too long for that voice to grace us with something new. It's My Party isn't a single off of a new Winehouse album.  It's a track on the Quincy Jones tribute album. But this could be an indication that she is getting back to form; hopefully a sober form.

Thanks idolator.com for the heads up.  Great website for music lovers.

It's a British double header; it has been announced that Adele's sophomore album, '21', will be released February 22 in the U.S.  The first single, "Rolling in the Deep", will be released January 16.  Patience is a virtue I am not very friendly with, so I am going to do my best not to go crazy waiting.  The new Kate Nash album came out sooner than I expected, and I was quite disappointed.  So I will wait patiently if it means the album won't suck.  You can read the full article on Billboard.
