Cover Wars - Thirty Seconds To Mars "Stay"

I think I like their "Bad Romance" cover better because they transformed it. But this is pretty good, especially the second half. If you haven't seen them live you need to, still one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Cover Wars - Angel Haze "New Slaves"

I didn't really pay attention to her before, but I might have to start.

Cover Story - Coley "I Knew You Were Trouble"

You know that pre-pre-pre-teen rapper Maty B? Well he apparently grew up real fast. Haha, I kid, I kid. Coley, a Philly raised rapper, has had an interesting life. Learn all about it here, and If you like his cover of Taylor Swift's, "I Knew You Were Trouble," you'll probably like the rest of his stuff.

Cover Stories - Kate McGill "Too Close"

Sang it child! If you hadn't heard Alex Clare's version you would think this was her song. If you like this so much you want to own it, get it herehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif for FREE! And check out more of her stuff while you're at it.

Cover Stories - 30 Seconds to Mars "Where the Streets Have No Name"

They covered the classic U2 song for their MTV Unplugged special. He sounds great, I think this might be the most clean Jared Leto's voice has been. Once again, go see 30 Seconds to Mars live, it's an experience. I don't quick understand the choir though, and why do they always have to be all black? Are there no white or Asian people in choirs?

New Discovery - Keisha Booker "Melt My Heart to Stone"

This is the best straightforward cover of Adele I have ever heard. Her voice is so close to Adele's without sounding like karaoke. And her cover of India Arie's "Ready For Love" is equally beautiful.

Cover Stories - Adele "I Can't Make You Love Me"

As much as I love Adele and think she has a absolutely beautiful voice, no one can sing this song like Bonnie Raitt. I'm a little surprised that I'm saying this but I liked Justin Vernon's cover better.

Cover Stories - Justin Vernon "I Can't Make You Love Me"

When I heard Justin Vernon, of Bon Iver, did a cover of Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" I didn't know what to think. The song is in my top ten favorite songs of all time, so I don't like it when people ruin it. Vernon did exactly what you are supposed to do when doing a cover, he made it his; a more somber, even more heartfelt version. His voice more soulful than I think I have ever heard it, like a mix between Brian McKnight and Ray Lamontagne, Vernon makes you want to let him know that he can make you love him. Listen to the cover here.

Cover Stories - Dom "Alejandro"

I thought this would be a lot more rock; it's okay. As Simon would say, it sounds like bad karaoke.

Cover Stories - Amber Riley "Someone Like You"

I had planned on not posting anymore Adele covers, but Ms. Riley's voice is just too amazing. Why the heck is Gwyenth Paltrow singing the Adele song on Glee. Amber Riley is still underused on that show. While Ryan Murphy was so wrapped up in Kings of Leon not wanting their music on the show, he isn't using the talent he already has. Useless.

Cover - Karmin "Look At Me Now"

Just watch...are you watching...seriously watch it. And watch more of their stuff here.

Cover Stories - JoJo "Whenever You're Around"

The woman can sang. I forgot how great Jojo's voice is, and it sounds like it has actually gotten better than it was. She needs to finally put out her new album. Or better yet, her record company needs to finally put out her new album. Watch her cover "Golden" and other R&B hits here.

Cover Stories - The Duke Spirit "Dancing On My Own"

The Duke Spirit reworked Robyn's hit dance track "Dancing On My Own." It's okay; nothing to write home about. Sort of not fair to say since the original is a dance track and this is an acoustic rock version, but it is what it is.

Cover Stories - David Cook "Rolling In The Deep"

After John Legend did it, every one else should have decided to not try. Cook doesn't do ruin the song, but he doesn't come close to the greatness that is Adele's or Legend's versions.

Cover Stories - Ezra Koening "Papa Hobo"

Ezra Koenig - "Papa Hobo" (Paul Simon Cover) by TwentyFourBit.com
Ezra Koening, lead singer of Vampire Weekend, did a cover of Paul Simon's "Papa Hobo." It's nothing to write home about.

Cover Stories - Berklee College Students "Bluebird"

So I've been trying to see if they have a band name but I can't seem to find one. I do know that the guys in the video are Berklee College students, Nick Goldston, Alex Collister, Mario Jose, and Robert Gillies. Above is their cover of Sara Bareilles "Bluebird." She retweeted this and it made their day. Below is their cover of Jessie J's "Price Tag." You can also make their day by checking out their covers and making them a Youtube sensation or whatnot; if you think they deserve it of course. Because every Youtube sensation deserves it....*sarcasm*.

Cover Stories - Eliza Doolittle "Runaway"

Dressed in a Katy Perry-esque get up, Eliza Doolittle performed Kanye West's "Runaway" at Manchester Academy last week.
