Donald Glover Had a Late Night

He does a bit of a Childish Gambino, I know they are not two different people, song at the end. I love this man too much.

Throwback - Common ft. Lauryn Hill "Retrospect For Life"

Hahaha, his acting has not gotten any better; okay maybe a little better. This is back when there were more than a few rappers actually rapping about real issues.
Mya -> Sisqo -> Ja Rule -> Charlie Baltimore -> Ghostface Killah -> Mary J. Blige -> Common -> Lauryn Hill. I think that is a great person to stop on for Throwback Thursday. Check out one of my favorite Lauryn Hill videos after the jump. I hope you enjoyed my trip down R&B/Hip Hop music memory lane. Comeback next week; same place, same time...maybe.

Throwback - Mary J. Blige ft. Common "Dance For Me"

If you've been following my Seven Degrees of Separation experiment, your logical guess for this would be Mary J Blige and Method Man's version of "Your All I Need." But since that was to be expected, and the fact that she was the feature on that song, I chose this one.

Throwback - Ghostface Killah ft. Mary J Blige

I actually don't remember this, hmm. Look at that Slick Rick chain.

Throwback - Charlie Baltimore ft. Ghostface Killah "Stand Up"

Probably not either of their most famous songs, but it counts for my game so it works. I'm sure when they first heard her spit they were baffled. She doesn't look like she would be this hard.

Throwback - Ja Rule ft. Charlie Baltimore "Down A** Chick"

Poor Ja Rule, I'm sure he thought he was going to beat 50 cent. And double poor Charlie Baltimore(rocked the red hair pre-Rihanna); her career/life didn't go so well. At least her daughter seems to be doing well.

Throwback - Dru Hill ft. Ja Rule "You Are Everything"

So I am playing Seven Degrees of Separation with these throwback videos. Except I don't know who I'm trying to get to. I'll figure it out as I go along. First it was Mya ft. Sisqo, now it is Dru Hill ft. Ja Rule. The bouncing...quintessential 90's dance move. Haha at Nokio's rapping.
