Beast Make Bomb

Winners of Converse's Get Out Of The Garage contest, "Beast Make Bomb is a marriage between punk attitude with a pop sensibility. They have been compared to the likes of Be Your Own Pet, X, The Pretenders, & Superchunk. While they write loud and catchy post-punk songs about college life in the city and staying up late, their songs possess a clarity that allows a sweetness to come through." To me they sound like a mix of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Beach House. Oddly enough they recorded their second EP at the same studio The Yeah Yeah Yeahs record; Headgear Studios. They will be going on the Get Out Of The Garage tour in six cities; Austin for SXSW, Seattle, LA, Chicago, DC, and NYC supporting Tokyo Police Club, The Whigs, and the Cold War Kids.
