BBD Potentially Starts a Trend On Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon

Bell Biv DeVoe sort of reunited to perform "Poison" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Once again proving that Jimmy Fallon's show has become the go to show for artist new or classic to capture audiences. Everyone loved it so much, Questlove has petitioned his twitter followers to petition Late Night to bring more old school R&B artist to the show. Potentially, this could be a whole week of similar artist like Guy and ABC. All I know is whoever does the artist booking deserves a raise. Watch the web exclusive encore performance after the jump.

Questlove was so impressed by the twelve man group from Cali, he made a twit bet about how they would be trending once the show aired. He wasn't the only member of the music elite to show his support, Mos Def dropped by just to watch them perform. And my new favorite music suggester, Patrick Stump, and my new favorite rapper Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover gave their thumbs up.

Lissie On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

I love this lady.

Phantogram TV Debut

Phantogram made their television debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last week. Kudos to whoever picks the musical acts for the show, they have really been doing a great job. And not just with indie stuff. But demerits for Fallon for not knowing who Tinie Tempah is. Phantogram's video for "Mouthful of Diamonds" is above.

Best Coast TV Debut

If you couldn't tell by the title, this is Best Coast's television debut. If I saw their drummer on the street I would have no idea she was a drummer, let alone in a band of any sort.

Shazzazz aka Jimmy Fallon & Gwyenth Paltrow

I love Jimmy Fallon for his goofiness. Just watch; if only too Gwyenth Paltrow in a ridiculous 90's outfit, singing cheesy R&B. Part 2 after the jump.

Jimmy Fallon - Carmen San Diego Skit

Wow, I completely forgot about Rockapella from the Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego 'game' show. If you weren't 4+ in the early 90's, you probably don't remember the PBS tv show. It was great, nobody ever completed the final challenge, and you hated them for it.

Aloe Blacc performed "I Need A Dollar," the theme song for the HBO hit series How To Make It In America, on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.  It was his first TV performance in the US.  His latest album 'Good Things' was released in September.

Trey Songz is Somewhere Crying; R Kelly Is Back

In the past couple years we have seen the return of Prince, Maxwell, and Sade. After a show stopping performance at the Soul Train Awards, R. Kelly does it again on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. This is the first of his two night appearance.
