On Repeat - O'Spada "Time"

I've been meaning to post this for the longest. It's such a, can't feel bad while you're listening to it type of song. Definitely want to get up and move when I hear it, which is all the time. The Swedes truly do it best.

Nice hang out music. I like their stuff, but I haven't heard anything spectacular yet. Check them out if you like more mellow, unassuming pop-rock.

Foreign Friday - Lianne La Havas "Lost and Found"

Laura Izbor, Joss Stone, and Emily King rolled into one beautiful and talented package. Get familiar with the Brit songstress, and you can get a free EP here, before her debut album Is Your Love Big Enough? comes out on July 9.

Local Flavor - The Beanstalk Library "The Only Things I'll Take With Me"

We've all felt this way at some point; depressingly upbeat, haha. The Beanstalk Library blend folk, pop, and rock for a 90's alt-pop mixed with 70's folk-rock sound. Listen to more of their music and check out their show dates here.

New Music Video - Sigur Ros "Fjogur Piano" NSFW

I wasn't going to post this, but what the heck. For those of you who haven't heard about or seen the video yet, it is NSFW...Shia LaBeouf and his female costar are quite naked in it. The video is pretty much what you would expect from a Sigur Ros video; artsy, with a bit of confusion. This article sums up the video and the project that brought it about. I have a feeling they will use the song on So You Think You Can Dance.

New Discovery - We Have Band "Watertight"

I've been meaning to post this for a while now. This is steady on repeat. Of course they are from the UK, no offense to the awesome US bands out there. If you haven't been introduced to them yet, you're welcome, haha. Get familiar here.

Throwback - DMX "Ruff Ryder's Anthem"

Seriously, I miss Ruff Ryders. I don't miss the violence, Source Awards type foolishness, but hip hop today is lacking that certain edge (swag for you youngsters). Is it odd that so many of them have their shirts off? Was it a particularly hot day?

Throwback - DMX "How's It Goin Down"

I honestly don't think I've heard this song in a full decade. The reaction I had when I heard it the other day was ridiculous. DMX needs to get off that stuff, and make a real comeback.

Just Cause - Reform The Resistance "Tonight We Ride"

They're like a  mix of 30 Seconds to Mars and your little sisters other favorite emo band.

Beck ft. Childish Gambino

I'm surprised it took this long for this to happen.  If you've never heard Beck rap this is going to be a special treat. Listen here.  Scroll over the picture to read a ridiculous note from Big Ghost.
