This one goes out to the '99 and the 2000s! The fact that it has been 14 years since this song came out, is disturbing me. The outfits...the outfits, haha. If you are wondering what they are up to, they put out a self-titled album in 2013. And they are from Baltimore, who knew.

If for some reason you haven't heard this yet, here you are. This is one of those songs that I need to hear bumping at a house party to fully appreciate. Not saying I don't like it, but my simple earbuds are not doing it justice. I need it playing on vinyl, with just enough bass.

I was at a trivia night this week, and when we didn't know the answer we put down Ashanti, haha. Apparently the week before, she was one of the picture questions and nobody got it right except for the black people, haha. Regardless of her current irrelevance, you have to admit she had a hot little run.
