Foreign Friday - Phyno "Street Muzik"

Not another Nigerian dance track that sounds like the other Nigerian dance track. Sounds almost like a Maybach Music song. Rick Ross was just in the country of Africa, excuse me while I suck my teeth.

Origin: Nigeria
Genre: Rap

Foreign Friday - Skatan "Norwegian Light"

I have said it before and I will continue to say it. The Swedes are the best and most underrated.

Origin: Sweden
Genre: folk-pop
Similar to: Lana Del Rey, Regina Spektor

Foreign Friday - Sam Smith "The Lonely Hour"

He is part of the reason that Disclosure's "Latch" was a hit. His soulful voice is reminiscent of Sam Sparro and James Blake(not because they are all white). Definitely someone to look out for.

Origin: England
Genre: Soul

Foreign Friday - Disclosure ft. London Grammar "Help Me Lose My Mind"

This is my latest on repeat track; it's off their latest album Settle. Partly because it's subtle, unlike most of the stuff out now.

Origin: England
Genre: electro
Fun Fact: They are brothers.

Foreign Friday - D'banj ft. Big Sean and Snoop Lion "Blame It On The Money"

Everyone is excited to see what D'banj would do now that he is apart of G.O.O.D Music. His contributions to the last tracks were negligible, even embarrassing. So it is fantastic to see him actually singing-rapping. This track is a club/car banger for sure. But the question is how will Americans respond to a Nigerian style track.

New Music - Wale ft. Rihanna "Bad(Remix)"

Rihanna sounds fine on the hook, but she can't touch Tiara Thomas. This sounds like a way to build some buzz, there is nothing wrong with that, but this isn't a remix.

New Music - Slum Village "Sirens"

Something is off about this, I think it needs to be listened to loud; like he says "we need everything louder." But maybe it's missing Kanye's touch or Dre's or somebody's to put it over the edge.

New Music - Francis and the Lights "ETC"
