Foreign Friday - Ayo Olatunji "I'd Be Lying"

He is being called the Nigerian Frank Ocean; in musical style not necessarily in sexual preference. And I can definitely hear why; the R&B melodies and vocals, with a rock and pop infusion. Mr. Ocean certainly isn't the only out there doing it, but for comparison sake I can see why people would make it.

Here's hoping Ayo doesn't have to make a major life changing announcement to get the same type of hype. He is dropping his mixtape "Isolation" on July 24th, but you can check out some of the tracks here.

Foreign Friday - Ajubutter 22 "Senrenre

Aju Butter 22's super hit finally has a video. It is pretty much exactly what I was expecting; hot girls, alcohol, strobe lights, Blackberrys, the usual. I can't say I agree with the "drugging" of one of the women, but otherwise good stuff.

New Music Video - Kimbra "Two Way Street"

Dita Von Tesse meets Katy Perry in style and beauty, with a seasoned voice beyond her years. If you can't tell, I love this woman. In regards to the video, it is very her, quite quirky.

Frank Ocean Had a Late Night

Twitter is going crazy over his performance, album, and all the fake Frank Ocean twitter accounts. I still don't think he can sing that well, at least technically speaking. No Church in the Wild is my joint though.
