Lupe Fiasco Debuts At #1

Lupe Fiasco's fiasco of an album, "Lasers," debuted at #1 on the billboard Hot 200 this week. I say it's a fiasco only because of the drama surrounding it. Despite Fiasco bad mouthing the record and many fans disappointment with it, the album still beat out several new releases and Adele for the top spot. Another Glee soundtrack, Avril Lavigne, R.E.M, and Sara Evans all debuted in the top 10; #3, #4, #5, and #6 respectively. A somewhat disappointing entry for Avril Lavigne, but better than not being in the top ten at all.
On the Hot 100, Lady GaGa's "Born This Way" is #1 for another week, but Katy Perry's "E.T," #3, is gaining speed and could likely take the #1 in the coming weeks. Also in the top ten this week is Britney Spears "Till The World Ends," which jumps from 20 to 9. Just outside the top ten is Diddy's "Coming Home" at #11; it's highest peak to date.
Congrats to all.
