Foreign Friday - James Vincent McMorrow

I was pleasantly surprised when his voice came in on "If I Had A Boat," one of my favorite tracks on his album Early In The Morning. I wasn't expecting the beautiful, deep, and weathered voice. I have people I can compare his voice to, but I can't bring myself to do it. The Irishman's voice is just so darn...good..and genuine. You can hear so much emotion going in to every note that passes his lips, and imagine the stories that caused him to write them.
