John Legend, the special guest on the tour, appeared to be giving his all to prove he deserved to be on tour with Sade. The R&b/soul singer ran through a string of his hits, decked out in an off white three piece suit similar to the ones Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake don in their Barry Gibb sketch for Saturday Night Live. As Legend started singing his version of Adele's Rolling in the Deep, one fan stopped walking to passionately sing along to the soulful cover. Demonstrating that he was the right man for the special guest job, Legend had the crowd in the palm of his hand by the end of his set. The audience sang, clapped, and stood up when he wanted. But his hold was nothing compared to the effect Sade had.
