Album Review - T. I Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head

Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, hmm, T.I might not be as complicated as he says on "Can You Learn." The rest of the album, especially "Trap Back" and "Wildside" show him as the drug abusing/slinging, gun totting, bad boy that he will always be. At least that's the picture he paints. That he may want to change, but the thuggin' will always be apart of him. Something that isn't new to rappers. Overall, the beats are lackluster and T.I doesn't go as hard as he can. Here's a lazy breakdown by song.

The Introduction - one of the better tracks, kicks it off with a bang.
G. Season - discusses his legal troubles and scandals
Trap Back Jumpin - standard rap about selling drugs, can already hear one of my neighbors blasting it as they drive by, cause the beat lends well to ridding around trying to feel like a thug.
Wildside - explanation why he will always be a bad boy.
Ball - the song itself is confused, someone should have vetoed this. Or at least made the necessary corrections. The hook doesn't fit with the rest of the track. It has enough twerking beat to it for someone to make a video to it though.
Sorry - Andre 3000 is the only reason to listen to this song, as always.
Can You Learn - he's established he's a bad boy forever, now he wants his girl to accept him for him. I like R.Kelly on this.
Go Get It - meh
Guns and Roses - Eminem did this better. Just like with 3000, Pink is the best part.
Way We Ride - another blasting annoyingly through the neighborhood song. Sounds more like Tip then most of the previous songs on the album.
Cruisin - I would expect this from the 20 something rappers, but T.I you are better than this. I like it though, haha.
Addresses - sounds recycled
Hello - yet again Cee Lo is the best part, he should redo the song as his own.
Who Want Some - "okaaaay"
Wonderful Life - Akon ruins the feature streak. Somebody else should have sung the iconic hook. Even if he just had Pink sing on two songs.
Hallelujah - meh
